The Scholar’s Electives program is designed for high-achieving, self-directed students interested in pursuing an interdisciplinary academic experience.Brescia’s unique version of the Scholar’s Electives program allows students to broaden their university studies through focused research projects, faculty mentoring, and a specialized course designed to develop leadership skills through experiential learning and community service.Scholar’s Electives students enroll in a Scholar’s Electives module in addition to their Honors degree courses/modules.
Scholar’s Electives students have the benefit of being paired with a faculty member who serves as the student’s primary academic advisor, working in collaboration with the Associate Academic Dean at Brescia University College.

Having gone through 4 years for my undergrad - don't pick a course because you've heard it's a 'bird' course. Often these courses are dry and have extremely boring content.
Although it may be easy to get a half-decent mark, you'll hate every minute of it. (Trust me, I took your approach in my first year, and it bit me in the ass)I'd say your best bet is to just take courses you are genuinely interested in. You'll actually end up enjoying studying, which means the course will be easy. I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but you're not there to 'just get a degree' - you're there to learn!(But just to give you a little tip, check out the Music faculty. In second year I took a course in 'The history of popular post-World War 2 rock music'.
I've never learned more in a course than that one). Easy and bird courses are in the eye of the beholder, but I've got a few:- I'm not the best at math and sciences, so in dodging that breadth requirement, take Earth Rocks! And Earth, Art, and Culture.
The earth science-y courses were fairly easy to me, but they both had their drawbacks. While both of the profs were awesome, Earth Rocks had a fairly challenging lab component (but the exams were multiple choice (consisting of two), simple diagram regurgitation, and two word fitbs) and Culture had straightforward exams - you just need to make a plan with a friend so that not a single class is missed. Earth rocks is an easier thing to miss. Except for the labs.
Go to those.Unless you have an interest in Sociology, don't do it if you're looking for either an essay or non-essay course. The exams are needlessly complicated, but if you get the right TA, you could be landing easy 90s on the essays.
But the exams barely make it worthwhile. I know they have two similar.5s relating to sociology that's not the introductory course, but I'm not sure how easy those are.Instead, in my first year, I took Film Studies. Exams were relatively easy, and the essays were too (again, how you get marked on those is based on the TAs), but you watched a lot of movies (it's 1 hour lecture, 1 hour tutorial, and 3 hours screening (it only went to three hours once.). Problem is, they're usually scheduled at night, but watching movies and analyzing them was interesting for an over-thinker like me.
